After living in our Thousand Oaks home for 42 years my wife and I felt it was time to consider selling our beautiful home. I began the process one Spring weekend when I stopped by a neighbors “Open House” to determine the selling prices in our neighborhood. I was immediately met by Dore from Aviara Real Estate, and I explained why I was there. She was very understanding and graciously answered my questions. About a week later Dore stopped by with a crate full of items that every seller needs when they sell their home: cleaning supplies, packing foam, tape, plastic wrap, and a brochure full of helpful hints for owners preparing to sell their home. In a matter of days, we called Dore and made an in-home appointment. Upon arrive she did a walk-through and assured us that our home would sell quickly.
